It's boring but it'll get you 2 or 3 stars per level first time. With this one, after level one, it's the same formula for each level - max out income and recycling while keeping the enemy on their half of the screen with a few subs and MG boats, max out the other upgrades, spam enough of everything to trigger the Battleship, stop building anything except subs until the Battleship is in range of your guns, then spam everything again. In the original you had to think quick to match the enemies ships, and plan ahead how to take down the Battleship. I get the impression that the changes were suggested by players, which goes to show the developer knew a lot more about good gameplay than the players did.Īnd to everyone that wants an autobuild feature, there's little enough to think about in this anyway, that'd all but turn it into an idle game.I loved Black Navy War, so I was pretty excited when I saw this.
